| On September 24,
1957, 43 eager and excited women attended the first day of classes
at Cabrini College. Fifty years later, Cabrini has an enrollment
of 2,300 men and women in undergraduate
and graduate programs in liberal arts and sciences and professional
studies.
As the College has grown, students and faculty
have made extraordinary achievements in academic exploration,
community partnerships and personal discovery. Through times
of challenge and change, the Cabrinian strength and spirit
instilled by the College’s founders, the Missionary Sisters
of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, continues to inspire.
Fashions have changed and facilities have been updated, but
the College's focus remains the same: an “education of the
heart” integrating intellectual competency with moral and
social responsibility.
We celebrate this milestone to recognize our past, celebrate
our present, and build our future. You are invited to participate
in this commemoration. Attend events, explore the links on
this website, reconnect with classmates or simply take a
moment to think about what Cabrini has meant in your life.
This is a celebration of the College, the people who make
up our community and our plans for the future. |
